Abstract
The field of financial mathematics is not limited to just the financial sector, but can be extended to many other industrial problems. This dissertation aims to introduce financial mathematical techniques and their application to the oil industry. We propose a methodology for pricing certain apparatus used in the oil industry, concentrating on a multi-phase flow meter produced by Schlumberger.
